My Life Was RevolutionizedI grew up in a semi-Catholic family, and from my youth I liked to read the Bible, but I had very few real experiences of Christ and received very little enlightenment in my Bible reading. As a young man I also attended many Christian functions and heard several renowned pastors speak, but eventually I felt that church had little value in my life, and the Bible was a book too heavy with laws and requirements. Besides occasionally reading some Bible stories or hearing something from a pastor that I considered interesting, my Christian life was virtually non-existent.
However, things changed in the summer of 1995. One of my friends contacted the local church and invited me to their meetings. I did not oppose going to church, but I was not really interested, either. Later, I decided to attend a weeklong Bible study given by Witness Lee. That study revolutionized my life in just one week. Witness Lee opened up the words of the Bible is such a way that I saw clearly for the first time the message of the Bible--that Christ is God come in the flesh to die for the forgiveness of all my sins, that Christ rose from the dead and as the Spirit came into me when I believed into Him so that I could enjoy Him and be saved in His life. I also saw that God loves men and wants to be one with man in the way of love. The love of God is stronger than anything in the universe.
This experience revolutionized my life and has uplifted my experience of Christ significantly. Being a Christian is everything to me now. For the last three and a half years I have been enjoying, gaining, and loving Christ. These past three and a half years have been the most valuable and enjoyable years in my life.
